Wendy has worked on social change projects in the Duluth, Minnesota community for 30 years, developing new programs, grant writing and as a trainer. Her proudest achievement was training elementary school children to be peer mediators and leaders in their school to address "isms". Teaching children active listening skills and helping them get to the heart of issues was incredibly rewarding. She also recently went on a clowning trip with Patch Adams to Russia, bringing a bit of joy and laughter to orphans. It was also great fun traveling with clowns from 11 different countries.

She is active in the More to Life organization and has stepped into leadership in the local community, is a Self-Esteem Enhancement Mentor (SEE), and leads Mastery Classes in the Duluth community. She lives near Lake Superior which inspires her daily, to create change by working "for" things, which creates positive energy, as opposed to working against something.
